We’ll give you a walkthrough of Jimdo’s five pricing plans. We list prices in US dollars, but keep in mind that Jimdo’s prices actually vary depending on the country. Its entry plan costs $9USD in the USA, £9 in the UK (or $12 USD) and €9 in Eurozone countries ($10.30USD). This is not typical of competitors in the website builder sector - most make currency conversions in order to charge comparable prices in different markets.
Jimdo’s plans all include access to their template gallery with mobile responsive designs, storage and bandwidth (we’ll see how much each plan offers below), a blog function and photo galleries.
Jimdo Play - Play is Jimdo’s free plan, which has a 5-page capacity, 500MB storage, 2GB bandwidth, a Jimdo subdomain, https encryption and a Jimdo ad at the bottom of each page. For a small blog, this is a great option in terms of storage and bandwidth. But for a more high-traffic page with greater needs, or a professional page, this probably won’t be enough. This plan also doesn’t offer access to the support team.
Jimdo Start - For $9/month, this plan includes a free domain name for 1 year, 5GB storage, 10GB bandwidth and up to 10 pages for your website. You’ll get access to standard support and no Jimdo advertisements will appear on your site. This plan is best for small business owners or larger blogs who have budget restrictions or don’t need to sell their products directly on their website.
Jimdo Grow - The Grow plan costs $15/month and includes everything in the Start plan, plus 15GB storage, 20GB bandwidth and 50 pages for your website.
Jimdo eCommerce - For $19/month, you’ll get everything in the Grow Plan, plus the capacity to sell products online. There’s no limit on how many products you can list.
Jimdo Unlimited - At $39/month, this premium plan offers unlimited everything - storage, bandwidth and pages - plus an online store. It also includes an individualized professional design analysis with a Jimdo designer, who will help you make sure that your site’s design is optimized for its intended market.
Because Jimdo offers a free plan, you have nothing to lose by signing up and building a site. Then if you like what you see, consider upgrading to a premium plan.
